Azienda Agricola Firmino Miotti
Firmino Miotti starts running his father’s farm in the 50s at a very young age. Firmino is a tireless worker; he loves his and very soon the vineyards become his home: he takes care of the vines and safeguards the most ancient local varieties.
His daughter Franca joins him in the company in 1996: the family tradition continues with success. She respects the decision of his father to preserve authoctone vines such as Gruajo, Groppello, Pedevenda, Marzemina Bianca and Vespaiolo and to produce Torcolato in the most traditional way; however she manages to introduce some changes, such as the use of wood for the aging of the some wines. She also produces the very first Crus and, most recently, a range of gently sparkling white and rosé wines with the sediment, using the classical method.
